Sertã House of Culture
"Until January 31st, the Sertã Cultural Center is hosting the painting exhibition "The Art of Seeing", by Beatriz Lopes, the youngest artist (14 years old) to exhibit individually at this venue."
On display will be oil paintings, the artist's preferred technique, where color and textures merge, giving rise to paintings in which both reality and imagination combine.
Originally from Sertã, Beatriz Lopes has been a student at the Daniela Pinto Atelier since she was six years old. She has experimented with various techniques, but it was oil painting that captivated her, and therefore, since 2018, her paintings have been mostly executed in this technique. In that same year, Beatriz exhibited her work for the first time at the "António Torrado" Library, at the Sertã Basic School.
The exhibition "The Art of Seeing" is on display at the Sertã Cultural Center until January 31st, and can be visited Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and on weekends whenever events are taking place there. Admission is free.
Municipal Museum of Vila de Rei
Beatriz Lopes is 14 years old, is from Sertã, and has been attending painting and drawing classes since she was 6, where she has been able to refine some of her techniques.
In January 2025, she held an exhibition at the "Casa da Cultura" in Sertã, showcasing some of her works. Oil painting is her preferred technique.
He is once again exhibiting his works, this time at the Vila de Rei Municipal Museum, which, in addition to its permanent exhibition where he recreates the lifestyle of a wealthy farming family between the 19th and 20th centuries, has a room for exhibiting and showcasing various types of exhibitions for a wide range of audiences.
Visiting hours: Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM

José Cardoso Pires Library, Vila de Rei
The José Cardoso Pires Municipal Library in Vila de Rei will host the exhibition 'The Beginning' by Beatriz Lopes between June 1st and 30th.
The artist is from Sertã and is 15 years old. Since she was six, she has attended painting and drawing classes at the “Atelier Daniela Pinto”. She has already held exhibitions at the “Biblioteca António Torrado” in Sertã, the Casa da Cultura da Sertã, and the Vila de Rei Municipal Museum. The paintings on display are oil paintings, some with gesso applied on canvas.
Visit the José Cardoso Pires Municipal Library and the 'The Beginning' Exhibition from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, from June 1st to 30th.
